Alan Autry

Carlos Alan Autry was born in 1952. He was raised in Riverdale, California, and later became a star football player at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. He is best known for his role as Captain Bubba Skinner on the television series In the Heat of the Night.

Autry played NFL Football for the Green Bay Packers as a second string quarterback in 1975 and 1976. I November 2000, Autry was elected mayor of Fresno, CA.
